Calf Serum

Calf Serum is serum collected from Bovine Calves from less than eight months of age brought to slaughter. The Serum is separated from the blood of the animal by a mechanical defibrination process. The raw serum is stored frozen at minus 20 degrees Celsius or below until processed by aseptic filtration. Material is collected from USDA licensed abattoirs located entirely within the U.S. The animals are inspected by a licensed veterinarian pre and post slaughter and are certified free of diseases of clawed animals.
